Whatever your reason for joining us, know this, working with us makes a difference!What Will I Do?As Plant Sale Lead you will partner with the Plant Sale Coordinator to ensure organized and efficient operations of our annual plant sale. You will provide excellent customer service, effective leadership, a positive and safe work environment, and a visually appealing space. This position will also sign for plant deliveries as well as water and care for plants. Plant Sale Leads will work outdoors in spring weather conditions and travel between our East 7th Street and West 7th Street locations.Specific areas of accountability include customer service, event set up and break down, staff support and supervision (directing, coaching, training), operations and safety, and sustaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.*We are hiring for East 7th and West 7th locations. These seasonal positions will be 4/2025 through 6/2025, specific dates to be determined. Sale runs 4/23/25-6/1/25.Schedule: Full-time hours; the plant sale runs 8am – 7pm Sunday – Thursday and 8am-8pm Friday – Saturday. Current shifts available vary and may include weekend hours.Location: 1500 West 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102 & 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106Physical and Working Requirements:This position requires frequent standing as well as walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling, fine motor manipulation, climbing (ladders), lifting of up to 60lbs, as well as the ability to move around our store and storage room, work in varying temperature conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
