GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:Performs responsible para-professional, clerical and human support work assisting in student management of in school suspensions; does related work as required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:General knowledge of student instruction and management practices, procedures and techniques; general knowledge of school system rules and procedures for classroom, halls, cafeteria, library and transportation; general knowledge of subject areas in class levels to which assigned; ability to guide, direct, teach, and control students; ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, teachers, principals and other school personnel; ability to type basic records; ability to operate audio-visual equipment.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school including clerical training.PHYSICAL CONDITIONS AND NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:To Be DeterminedEVALUATION:Will be evaluated on the ability and effectiveness to carry out the responsibilities as outlined.PG 7 2024-25
