We are seeking a dynamic, fashion-savvy Assistant to support our VP of Brand and Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about fashion and apparel, looking to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The role will focus on assisting with merchandise/clothing orders, apparel production, and basic accounting tasks, while also being involved in creative aspects like cutting, sewing, and design. This is a great entry point for someone who aspires to grow in fashion and brand management.Responsibilities

• Assist with placing and tracking orders for apparel and merchandise.
• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers, including trips to downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) for sourcing and placing orders.
• Support basic accounting tasks related to orders and inventory.
• Contribute to apparel production, including cutting, sewing, and design creation.
• Ensure timely and accurate order management, invoicing, and follow-up.
• Provide administrative support to the VP of Brand and Marketing as needed.

Requirements

• Passion for fashion and an interest in the apparel industry is a must.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and experience with order management.
• Creative skills, including sewing and design, are a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with fashion merchandising or production is preferred.

Base Salary: $50,000 – $60,000/yr dependent on experience
