The future is here!This Digital and Web Marketing Manager reports to the Associate Vice President, Marketing and Communications and is responsible for Davidson-Davie Community College’s overall web presence as well as other online presences that the College has.

• Work with all departments on campus to perform needed day to day website updates to various Davidson-Davie websites.
• Maintain organization within the Marketing Department’s website update request ticketing system
• Work with outside website hosting vendor to ensure website performance is optimal for all users
• Collaborate with internal and external designers to implement needed visual changes to the website pages.
• Ensure websites are accessible for ADA & WCAG Compliance
• Correct broken links, misspellings and other errors outlined in weekly reports
• Help maintain other various digital presences of the College
• Maintain sensitivity, understanding and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the College and attends College events and meetings
• Perform other tasks as assigned which support the mission and initiatives of the College

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• In-depth experience with WordPress content management system
• Experience in implementing best practices in WCAG accessibility standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in manipulating images using Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with Apple computers
• Experience in working with basic HTML coding
• Experience in working with photography equipment and social media in a business setting
• Ability to lead and manage change through collaborative leadership
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to develop and apply flexibility, resourcefulness, and creative approaches to unique problems
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse individuals and groups of people
• Presentation Skills
• Familiarity with and commitment to the community college’s purpose

ADA requirements for this position include critical thinking skills with the ability to process information and exercise good judgment; ease of mobility within the office setting and other areas of campus; effective use of all forms of communication; and the ability to perform general office duties, including use of the computer. Salary: $42392 – 55109 per year
