Description: My client is seeking a Family Law Paralegal with over 5 years of recent experience to manage the discovery process and prepare cases for depositions, mediations, and trials. This role involves drafting legal documents, filings, and general correspondence with a strong emphasis on accuracy while adhering to established formatting guidelines. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and meticulous about accuracy, spelling, and grammar. This fast-paced environment requires multitasking abilities and effective management of a voluminous caseload. A self-starter willing to learn new skills, take initiative, and be proactive is essential. The position requires in-office work at least three days per week.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research.
• Draft legal documents.
• Calendar appointments and deadlines.
• Manage and organize client files, ensuring the client database and document management system are up to date.
• Maintain billable hour requirements.
• Prepare settlement proposals, pleadings, discovery requests, requests for orders, and trial briefs.

Requirements:Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Family Law Paralegal.
• Familiarity with family law practice areas, including dissolutions, relationship agreements, custody/visitation issues, support disputes, and property division.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in California Rules of Court and local rules.
• Understanding of the California probate and trust administration process.

Salary: $72000 – 125000 per year
