This individual contributor role requires a blend of technical expertise and marketing insight to lead all web development and design initiatives. This role will own the end-to-end management of our website while ensuring that it aligns with our business growth and brand awareness goals. Collaborating closely with our product managers, creative team, marketing operations, IT team and other departments to ensure our online presence is visually appealing and functionally robust, with an emphasis on UI/UX and programming to achieve this goal.This is a newly created position in an exciting, growing Marketing organization! It is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the healthcare/medical device industry and communicating how Mizuho OSI’s products allow surgical teams to be the heroes in their patients’ care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corporate website development, digital marketing campaign pages, and search engine optimization.A successful Marketing Web Developer will be able to provide support with the following:Website Development & Maintenance

  • Responsible for ownership of the architecture, performance, and user experience of the company website.
  • Lead website redesign projects and implement ongoing improvement initiatives based on marketing objectives.
  • Manage hosting, domain names, SSL certificates, and overall website infrastructure.
  • Work with IT department to ensure seamless security implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and data protection regulations.
  • Utilize advanced web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6+, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Leverage backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.) for website functionality.
  • Work with CMS platforms, such as WordPress and plugins.
  • Ensure responsive design, mobile optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.

Design & User Experience

  • Design and/or code websites, microsites, landing pages, emails, and other interactive projects using HTML/CSS.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all web properties and ensure adherence to UI/UX best practices.
  • Stay informed about current web design trends, particularly in the B2B or healthcare industry.

Email & Campaign Support

  • Design and develop emails for Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot), Salesforce’s B2B marketing automation platform.
  • Ensure email client compatibility and provide insights into improving email design and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop optimized landing pages, microsites, and promotional campaign pages.
  • Evaluate web analytics, implement SEO strategies, and review conversion tracking across web properties.
  • Guide and provide direction for web projects.
  • Enhance the website’s role in promoting lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new channels to reach our target buyers.
  • Use performance metrics across all channels to track performance of various initiatives and implement changes to improve business results.
  • Monitor and report on competitive digital presence.
  • Produce reports or presentations to summarize findings and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and cross functional departments to resolve website usability issues and address various internal and external stakeholder needs.
  • Plan and implement website changes and functional improvements. Serves as the internal SEO expert. Optimizes web content for SEO.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, forms and other tools to more clearly convey product or technical information online as required.
  • To understand Mizuho OSI’s business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work.
  • To Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in corporate web development, web-based applications; medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.
  • A portfolio demonstrating successful website development, design and/or maintenance/improvement projects.
  • Extensive experience with content management systems, preferably Drupal and WordPress.
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms such as Pardot.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development strategies.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strategic and creative thinking capabilities to generate innovative solutions to problems, with an understanding of the medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of google advertising, google analytics, social media platforms and their best practices preferred.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Ability to manage vendors and budgets.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems and marketing automation tools desirable.
