Description: Law FirmAtlanta, GeorgiaOur close client, a global multinational firm, is seeking an Associate to work with the International & Federal team within their nationally recognized Tax practice group in their Atlanta or Washington, DC office locations. They are looking to add a team member with experience structuring, negotiating, documenting, and advising multinational clients on the tax considerations related to domestic and cross-border transactions. The Associate will have extensive interaction with clients, and the opportunity to be part of a practice that provides advice to a broad range of Fortune 100 clients and multinational companies. Ideal candidates will possess 3-5 years of law firm or government experience; skills and knowledge related to a broad range of tax matters and international tax policy; experience planning transactions—acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, restructurings, and finance company arrangements—to achieve desired business objectives in the most tax-efficient manner; and excellent writing and analytical skills. Strong academic records and communication abilities are required. Ideal candidates will be confident, self-motivated, and able to assume immediate responsibility for matters in an active practice.
