As a Senior Developer at AKQA, you will work with a team of highly skilled people – each with strong opinions about various technologies, frameworks and approaches to delivery.Please note: This is a 3-6 month freelance contract role. No visa transfers or visa sponsorships will be offered at this time. Candidates for this role must be able to work West Coast hours.ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and other web development/production tools
• Expert in JavaScript with working experience on a team building components in React with Typescript, and Vue.js
• Ability to independently develop JavaScript prototypes which includes research and proof of concept development
• Experience with templates and task automation including handlebars, NPM and Vite
• Advanced knowledge of responsive web design
• Experience with translating comps and wireframes into flexible and usable code
• Experience implementing pixel perfect designs across a broad range of browsers and devices
• Experience using version control software(git) in multi-developer team
• Experience with Photoshop
• Experience with developing large customer-facing websites
• Experience building tools to automate and streamline processes
• Previous experience with HTML E-mail development is a strong plus

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

• 5+ years’ experience working as a front-end developer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate technical concepts to clients and non-technical colleagues
• Experience with web application development
• Thrives when facing new challenges in improving client deliverables
• Relentless attention to detail
• A passion for quality, receptive to feedback, and a desire to write code that produces a bug-free user experience
• Seeks to work in a process rich, quality-focused organization

The pay range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below.
