If youโ€™re ready to make a statewide impact, weโ€™d love to have you on our team! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ†What Youโ€™ll Do:Lead the Vision & Growth of Youth & Government โ€“ Oversee program strategy, expansion, and innovation to ensure maximum impact on youth leadership development ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ“ˆDevelop & Strengthen Partnerships โ€“ Collaborate with state officials, schools, community leaders, and YMCA branches to expand engagement and program reach ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒŽChampion Diversity & Inclusion โ€“ Ensure equitable access and participation for youth of all backgrounds, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ’ฌOversee Program Operations & Quality โ€“ Manage the programโ€™s curriculum, legislative simulations, leadership opportunities, and overall participant experience ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ†Support & Mentor Staff & Volunteers โ€“ Lead a passionate team of directors, coordinators, and volunteers dedicated to youth civic education and development ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ผManage Budget & Resources โ€“ Oversee financial planning, fundraising, and resource allocation to sustain and grow the program ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ“ŠRepresent the YMCA & Advocate for Youth Leadership โ€“ Serve as a key spokesperson, advocate, and thought leader in the field of civic education and youth engagement ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธโœจWhat Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • Passion for Civic Engagement & Youth Leadership โ€“ Experience in youth development, education, government, public policy, or nonprofit leadership ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ›๏ธ
  • Proven Leadership & Strategic Vision โ€“ Ability to lead at a high level, develop impactful programs, and drive meaningful outcomes ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ“ข
  • Strong Relationship-Building & Advocacy Skills โ€“ Comfort working with elected officials, community partners, donors, and educators to expand the programโ€™s impact ๐Ÿค๐Ÿซ
  • Experience in Program Management & Growth โ€“ Background in leading statewide or large-scale programs, including staff development, budgeting, and strategic planning ๐ŸŽฏ๐Ÿ’ผ
  • Excellent Communication โ€“ Ability to inspire, engage, and advocate for youth development at the highest levels ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽค
  • Education & Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree (Public Administration, Education, Political Science, or related field) or equivalent demonstrated years of experience in a similar role with youth programming.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in leadership, program development, or nonprofit management.
