This role is located in Pittsburgh, PAData Scientist Job DescriptionResponsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and implement predictive models to support business objectives
  • Create data visualization tools to help communicate insights and findings to stakeholders
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gathering, processing, and validating structured and unstructured data for analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to leverage data to drive business outcomes
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in data science

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
  • 3+ years of experience in a data science role
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, probability, machine learning, and data visualization
  • Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Analysis and Modeling: Conducting exploratory data analysis, building predictive models, and using machine learning techniques to uncover patterns and trends.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
